• Course: Game Development •

From March 2024, I will be conducting the lecture series “Game Development” in the module “Game Production” at Fresenius University.

As the title suggests, the aim is to familiarize students with the media format “videogames” as an important industry. Insights to be provided range from into the structure of developer teams, typical role distributions, to work processes within the games industry. As main focus of the “Game Development” series, I will particularly highlight the different phases of the game development process, from conception to release.

I am looking forward to being able to support the next generation on their path into the future of game production. Hopefully, besides the pure development process, we will have some time to at least briefly touch on adjacent areas such as monetization, marketing, distribution, operations, or legal issues. And most importantly, it should ideally bring joy to everyone! 🙂
